On April 11, 2024 in the Regional Educational and Training Center on CBRN Safety and Security and WMD Counter-Terrorism of CBRN Safety and Security Agency of National academy of sciences of Tajikistanheld a Republican scientific and theoretical conference of scientists and researchers of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, dedicated to "Twenty years of study and development of natural, exact and mathematical disciplines in the field of science and education (2020-2040 years)", "International Decade of Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028" and "Year of Legal Education." Academics, researchers and media representatives attended the conference.

Academician of NAST Ulmas Mirsaidov opened the national scientific-theoretical conference, congratulated the participants of the event and wished them progress. He emphasized that the Science Week in NAST is the attention of the Founder of National Peace and Unity, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon to the scientific sphere, which contributes to improving the position of Tajik science at the international level.

It was noted that the event is a good opportunity to exchange ideas and scientific achievements with a view to participating in NAST research and in this context gives a serious impetus to the development of technical thinking and outlook of young scientists.

Then, as a continuation of the event, a number of young scientists attended and presented informative papers to the participants, including
-    Barotov Bakhtiyor - Deputy Director, CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST, on "Radiation Monitoring of Tajikistan";
-    Boboev Komron on "Technical bases of uranium extraction from local uranium ores";
-    Bakhronov Sojidkhon on "Technological bases of uranium ore processing and radiation risk assessment in the regions of Tajikistan";
-    Eshov Juramurod on "Synthesis, thermodynamic properties of thorium and uranium compounds".

In addition, this event was attended by Mirzoev Daler, an employee of the Branch of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST in Sughd region, who made a virtual report on "Physical, chemical and technological bases of manufacturing of special purpose composites from local raw materials of Tajikistan".

At the results of the conference, the best presentation was recognized as the speech of Boboev Komron, a scientist of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST, on "Technical Basis of Uranium Extraction from Local Uranium Ores".

Scientific discussions were held at the end of the event and the participants received satisfactory answers to their questions.
