The Chairman of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Hilalbi Kurbanzoda, in her welcoming speech emphasized that increasing the number of scientists among women in the country is a significant contribution to the development of science in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Vice-President of NAST, Doctor of Science, Professor, and Corresponding Member of NAST Gulchekhra Kakhirova also delivered a welcoming speech at the conference. She emphasized that the role of women is important not only in the field of exact and in natural sciences, but also in science in general, because it is very difficult to engage in scientific research that requires high qualifications along with daily care for family and children.
