On 14 September 2023, an official ceremony was held to hand over devices and equipments to the Institute of Botany, Physiology and Plant Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan within the framework of the IAEA Regional Technical Cooperation Project RER5024 "Enhancing productivity and climate resilience of major food crops in Europe and Central Asia".

Ilhom Mirsaidzoda, Director of the CBRN SSA, as National Coordinator, handed over devices and equipment for research on increasing the productivity of staple food crops to the Institute of Botany, Plant Physiology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan on behalf of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). 

Within the framework of the IAEA Regional Technical Cooperation Project RER5024 "Enhancing productivity and climate resilience of major food crops in Europe and Central Asia", special devices such as soil moisture meter, benchtop pH-meter, micro-volume UV spectrophotometer with a wavelength range of 190 nm - 850 nm, laboratory freezer, automatic seed counter with microcomputer control, DNA analysis tests and other equipment were transferred.
