Tour for schoolchildren of Gymnasium №1 for Gifted Children of Dushanbe to the Research Laboratory of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Safety and Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan
17 May 2023, schoolchildren from Gymnasium №1 for Gifted Children of Dushanbe visited the Research Laboratory of the CBRN SSA NAST, which focuses on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear safety and security. During their tour, the schoolchildren had a unique opportunity to familiarize with advanced technologies in the field of science and technology, as well as to learn about how scientific research in the field of CBRN safety and security is conducted.
The Laboratory Tour began with an interactive presentation that informed participants about how science helps to keep our planet safe. The children were then guided through the laboratory, where they were shown examples of research and development in the field of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear safety and security.
School students from Gymnasium №1 for Gifted Children of Dushanbe expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to visit the Laboratory of the CBRN SSS Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and expressed their expectation to be able to participate in future scientific research.
"We are very glad that we were able to visit this Laboratory and learn more about science and its role in ensuring the safety of our planet. It was an amazing and educational journey and we thank the Laboratory for giving us this opportunity," said one of the students, Khamidova Farhunda.
The school students' visit to the Laboratory of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan was part of an educational programme organised by the Agency as part of its science and technology education programme, with the hope that the event would help stimulate students' interest to science.
