On September 28, 2022, on the sidelines of 66^th session of the IAEA General Conference a meeting between Ilhom Mirsaidzoda, Director of CBRN Safety and Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan with representatives of the IAEA Technical Cooperation Department was held.

During the meeting, issues of action plan implementation on realization of existing and new National and Regional projects within the framework of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the IAEA were discussed. The progress and issues of outstanding items of the action plan, as well as plans for future, were discussed.

The progress of implementation of the IAEA national projects, which is being implemented in the oncology centers of Dushanbe and Khujand, and preparation for project implementation in the Oncology Center of Kulyab were also discussed.

Ilhom Mirsaidzoda, Director of CBRN Safety and Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, expressed his gratitude to the IAEA Technical Cooperation Department for the implementation of current and future projects in Tajikistan, and noted that a number of measures are also planned by the Government of the country to improve the infrastructure of the above-mentioned Oncology centers.

Following of the meeting, the next steps were identified for the effective implementation of current and future projects in Tajikistan.
