On December 29, 2021, the annual meeting was held at the Regional Training Center.

The meeting was opened with a welcoming speech by the Director of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of the NAST, Ilhom Mirsaidzoda. He thanked all the employees for their contribution to the development of the Agency in 2021 and noted that according to the Decree of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, No. 117 dated November 05, 2021, the name of the Agency has been changed to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security Agency, and considerable amount of work in new areas remains to be carried out.

In his report, Ilhom Mirsaidzoda, Director of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST, emphasized about proceedings carried out for the past five years, outlining the plans for the upcoming 2022.Particular attention was paid to the construction of the CBRN Regional Forensic Center, which will include 16 laboratories for virology, immunology, food safety, chemical and biological safety, serology, molecular diagnostics; to construction of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency Branch in the Sughd region; to equipment with radiation portal monitors of border cross points in Tajikistan and to the construction of new Branches of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of the NAST in the Khatlon and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan.

Then, the heads of departments and sectors,  the director of Branch of CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST in Sughd region, presented their reports on the achievements over the past years, and the prospects for 2022.

During the meeting, the voting for the nomination "Head of the Year" and the nomination "Employee of the Year" was carried out. According to the number of votes, Barotov Bakhtiyor, the Head of Research department, was chosen as the "Head of the year", and Hamidov Farhod, the Head of Licensing, Inspection and Response to CBRN Emergency Department was chosen as the "Employee of the Year". The nominees received diplomas and monetary awards. 

At the end of the meeting, the Director of the CBRN Safety and Security Agency of NAST congratulated all the employees with achieved results in the implementation of goals set for 2021 and, according to the proposals presented in the presentations, he requested all heads of departments and sectors to prepare an action plan for 2022 and submit to the Director for approval.
