Within the framework of events dedicated to “Twentieth Anniversary of study and development of natural, accurate and mathematical sciences in science and education (2020-2040),” the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Agency organized an excursion to the Technical Support Organization for students of 7^th grades of the Technical Lyceum of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi. The excursion aimed to engage young people in sciences and help them to explore the field of radiation safety. 

Bakhtiyor Barotov, the Director of TSO welcomed the visitors and made an overview of the activities in TSO. Students with interest learned about the modern devices for detection of radioactive materials, with dosimeters and devices for detecting radioactive materials in water, soil, air, building constructions, etc. Students with the utmost interest have been asking questions they concerned about and received the answers on the aspects of nuclear safety. Besides, the educational video on radiation was demonstrated to them, and booklets and brochures were distributed to them as well. During the excursion, students got acquainted with the TSO key activities and expressed interest during the process.

 The excursion aimed to engage young people in sciences and help them to explore the field of radiation safety. The students and teachers expressed their pleasure in visiting TSO and extended their gratitude for organizing the excursion.
